Tarrytown Homes
Tarrytown is one of Austin's convenient neighborhoods - it's situated just West of MoPac, surrounded by the lake to the South and East and with 35th Street to the North. From most of the Enfield / Tarrytown area, you can be downtown or running around the Lake trails after a five minute drive. If running isn't for you, there's always a swim at Reed Park. Some of the major roads in the neighborhood are Exposition, Enfield, and Windsor Road.
Schools serving the neighborhood are Cassis Elementary, O Henry Middle School and Austin High School.
On of my favorite nearby restaurants is Hula Hut (for their Thai BBW Fajitas), or Magnolias if there's a grease deficiency in my diet.
Homes are typically older and well maintained, with new condos also available. Attached condos are available for under $200,000. The median single family home sales price in 2008 was $530,000 and there are newer homes available over the $1m mark.
