Moving to Austin
| Relocating to Austin Texas is great. I did it in 2004! Austin is one of the fastest growing metropolitan areas in the US. It has consistently doubled in size for the last century, as more and more people are drawn to affordable living and the quality of life we enoy here. Austin is the live music capital of the world, and quite apart from the rest of Texas. Housing is varied - from downtown condos to Hill Country ranches to Historic homes to Mid-Century Ranches to 5-star green homes. With a redeveloping urban core, large commuter suburbs and developing transportation infrastructure, it's set to continue growing. It's got a beautiful lake right in the center of town, and is a 30 minute drive from the Hill Country. Getting informed on the real estate market is key when considering a move. Finding out about local schools, the weather, leisure activities and the cost of living are key.
